Sometimes there isn't anything better than a nice, long walk to relax, clear your mind, and enjoy a beautiful sunny, but still chilly, day. Our boxer, Brooklyn, happens to love walks as well, especially along the East River. During the summer I like to run with him in this particular spot, but can't bear to face the cold temps in late fall and winter. He was really excited to visit, so much so that I couldn't keep a steady walk with him...he wanted to run!
This time of year can be tricky with your wardrobe, and if you're like me you're so eager for warm weather you absolutely refuse to wear that puffy coat anymore! Call me stubborn, I don't care, but enough is enough and I'm over the cold! So, the best solution for days like this is to layer up. I love this Vince thermal of my husband's (yes, I steal it occasionally...ok, he might as well just give it to me). I wear a light tee underneath and my surplus jacket over and it keeps me nice and comfortable for not-yet-warm-but-not-quite-freezing days. And my G Star denim jeans are always a favorite...probably one of my best purchases within the last couple of years. I wear these ALL the time...so comfy!
