Dry shampoos aren't just good for refreshing your day-after hair (or even the day after that). They're really awesome for giving your hair texture, and texture is important for achieving the most popular styles. I call it "putting grit in my hair." I'm obsessed with Oribe's Dry, but being a product-junkie, I'm always on the hunt for other great products. I was at the salon a few weeks ago, going blonder...I can't help myself...and using Olaplaex (more on that in a later post), when my friend, and stylist, Nicole introduced me to R+Co's Death Valley. This product isn't the best for soaking up that extra oil, but it's really, really good at giving you more volume and texture! Even better, it's paraben, sulfate, and gluten free. The packaging designs and product names are fun too.

For this look I used a few different products on wet hair because I wanted to have more of a destroyed curl look. I let my hair mostly air dry, but used a diffuser and tousled with my fingers until it was completely dry. Then I took the Death Valley to help mess it up even more. It was a undone, messy chic look.

I've noticed the past couple of days I've reached for Death Valley over my ultra-favorite Oribe Dry, and I'm looking forward to trying out the rest of their product line!
